Well, Im new to this blog lark. New to pretty much everything web. Bear with with me. Don't get me wrong though I've been surfing and buying all sorts of crap on Ebay for years now, so I'm no technology virgin.Having said that, I've decided to get my arse in gear and get a website going. Ive been on Facebook, Myspace and the likes but thought, "Right, lets give this website thing a go!" Never done one before, and given the past few days of fiddling about I dont think Ill venture into doing one again. Comfortable with what you know I guess. But, I've soldiered on, got the basics of my site going (few dead links here and there) but still Im pretty happy with a days (and a late evenings) work. My efforts may be somewhat basic and quite naive in their approach, but for me, I think I did alright.So whats it all about then?I used to be in a band, oh so long ago, and thought Id try and bash out a site dedicated to new and unsigned bands. Aspiring musicians and the like. Okay, admitedly Im gonna need help with reviews and such as I cant go travelling around the world to stand in some seedy little backstreet dive to listen to the next 'big thing'. Thats where Im hoping the worldwide community will help out somewhat. See a band, give a review, and Ill post it on my web. Okay the site has a few other little bits and pieces to it, as I may get the odd "WWW-Rambler" straying from their chosen path. Talking of straying from a chosen path. Ive just checked my website this morning. I added a banner for submit express after they kindly inserted my site to varying search engines...the problem? Now most of my links are pointing to their site? The woe continues...
